Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Patients (Colonoscopy & Gastroscopy)
At Montserrat, Our aim is to provide you with the highest standard of care in a relaxed and comfortable environment, with minimal inconvenience to your personal and professional schedule. Every year Montserrat hospitals provide nearly 10,000 procedures of which nearly 80% are Colonoscopies and Gastroscopies. If you hold a referral for an Open Access Colonoscopy or Gastroscopy or a Direct Referral to one of our Specialists you will now need to contact us to book your procedure or consultation. Our telephone number is: (07) 3833 6701.
Our Day Hospitals are operated by accredited specialist proceduralists, surgeons and anaesthetic staff to provide the highest medical care. We use a variety of the latest Endoscopy Equipment supplied by either Fuji Medical or Olympus Medical and have an ongoing replacement program of all of our Endoscopy Equipment.
Where possible we will endeavour to provide your entire service at the same facility. That means that you may see us for a consultation, prep appointment and procedure and follow up, all at the same location. This allows you to feel completely comfortable about where your procedure is being performed and by whom.
When calling to make your booking, please have your medicare card, credit card, GP referral and Private Health Card (if you have one) on hand to make the process as quick and convenient as possible.
