Westside Private Hospital is a privately owned short-stay surgical hospital located at Taringa. Our focus is to provide comprehensive, personalised, and exceptional care to our patients utilising a team approach from our doctors, nurses, allied health, and administrative support staff.
Located in the western suburbs of Brisbane, Westside Private Hospital has 4 operating theatres,1 procedure room, 3 treatment rooms, a 12-bed Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU), and 9-chair Stage 3 PACU, and 7-bed surgical ward.
We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Nurse with vitreo-retinal experience, Full Time or Part Time, Monday to Friday for immediate start.
About this role
To be successful in this role you will need to be a qualified Enrolled, Registered or Clinical Nurse with:
- Minimum 12 months ophthalmic experience
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Qualification in ophthalmic highly desirable
- Experience in Vitreo-retinal procedures is required
- Immediate start desirable

We have multiple opportunities for experienced Medical Administration Officers to join our busy Call Centre team. As part of this team, you will provide exceptional customer service to patients and be responsible for:
- Patient bookings
- Act as first point of contact for incoming calls
- Respond to queries via phone and email
- Perform financial checks
- Working in a practice management style arrangement for several doctors and businesses that operate through the Call Centre.

Westside Private Hospital currently have an opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse with demonstrated skills and experience in Surgical Ward/ PACU for approximately 5 night shifts per month including one Saturday night per month. Would welcome PACU RN willing to work the ward ND shift and could also work in PACU day shifts if applicant wanted further work.

- Knowledge of contemporary professional Standards and Legislation

MATERNITY LEAVE
Hospital employees sometimes struggle to find the right family and work balance, and Montserrat approaches this topic with great importance. Our hospital group is pleased to provide extended maternity leave of 12 weeks at half pay.
